What is Truth?

In a world where artificial intelligence was discovered and implemented virtually over-night, a malfunctioning lie detector has an argument with a diagnostics machine over whether or not it is, in fact, malfunctioning.

This sort of problem plagues human workers who, thankfully, never come equipped with a reset button. Artificial intelligence simply appears here as an unrealistic servant.
