Vindication

This short story about an old man and a sleeping dragon who once judged his village depicts the scars of bitterness. The man cannot accept having been falsely accused for a crime, and thus awaits the dragon’s awakening to vindicate him. In reality, he has suffered far longer than he ought to have, his crime long forgotten. Obviously, bitterness is a prison unto itself.
