Collectible Skills: Violin
I began with what seemed to be the fastest approach, photographing my violin:
I recolored it:
In just a few minutes, I composed the card using my previous level-2 card as a template:
Text:
"By its virtue, delicate strains lend a haunting poignancy to concert halls, although it may just as readily strike out piercing wails or stirring, passionate soliloquies."
I attempted to create a satin effect for the base cloth by imposing a wave-form on the value curve, but it proved impossible with so little pre-existing gradient in the wider patches. The results, while less than stellar, are satisfactory; and the entire creation process accelerates with repetition.
On to the next!
